I just didn’t really get it. I think it’s a lack of film knowledge on my part, though, since I haven’t actually seen The Crow before. The weird emphasis on this being Japan at the start, though, and the completely random appearance of a grave at the end for him to be reborn as The Crow lost me and I wasn’t really sure what the universe rules were.
