It’s not honestly that bad of a comic, it’s just really unfortunately named. Because apparently Marvel doesn’t understand that it’s not the little girls in comic shops they have to appeal to, it’s the parents who keep taking the comics they want to read away so they can get something more gender appropriate.
I kind of have mixed feelings about this whole…girl push Marvel’s been on lately. I mean, I guess it’s well-meant and a decent idea, but I don’t know. I’d think their efforts would be better spent trying to make comics that appeal to both men and women as opposed to trying to rope in…whoever this is aimed at. It just feels off, I don’t know. And yeah, it doesn’t look all that bad, I suppose. Still.
