Caelin isn't sure where that weapon of his comes from or where it goes when he isn't using it, but his father assures him that it's not that strange. While his father has taught him everything he knows about his strange ability, he isn't prepared for when a group of strange men come and kidnap his father late one night. When he tries to stop them, he's taken too and imprisoned with several others in a facility they call Carcer.

A world much like our own, but with magic and fighting and wings!

It was originally about one kid coming to terms with the fact that he could set things on fire. It was also originally going to be a tie in to Clandestine, but then I wanted to do a crossover of a bunch of my other characters.

I also suspect that watching X/1999 has something to do with my desire to include lots of wings.

This thing has been through so many titles and I cannot come up with one I like.
